Sorry, this doesn't work on Mac OS X, since there is no Java 1.5 for it yet. Mac users need something that will work. And it would also be really nice if you allowed people to save in .ps and .ai formats in case they want to manipulate the graphs in Adobe Irritator or Freehand. You could also put a contact email address on your blog or even a contact form.

There seem to be a few quirks in your .jar file: resizing the window larger makes the graph zoom forward, so parts of it are outside the visible window. Resizing smaller causes it to zoom out, but not enough to get the whole graph back in the visible area. Also, you don't provide any way to save the results as a .ai or .pdf file, which is needed if you want to manipulate or add to the image using Adobe Illustrator or FreeHand. How soon can you fix these problems?

Is this applet able to show broken links? Has development ever continued towards w3c validation? Thanks!

It shows broken links in yellow (see text) and it used the w3c validator. But I didn't touch the whole thing since 2006, so there might be changes in the w3c api and it doesn't work any longer.

Great work, Peter. Is there a form of this that will only map 'browser clicks', thereby, creating a literal 'surfing map' that can be displayed visually? I invision a 'mind-map' that connects itself as research is done that can be edited in real-time without having to manually add every single node.

After playing with Website structure graph app, Peter has started a new kewl particle graph tool which displays a whole website with validation information from the w3c validation tool. This is really great because the result is an overview of your ...
